Like many Gen Z kids who grew up on the internet, 21-year-old Jakarta-born, LA-based NIKI's influences are wide-ranging and genre-busting. NIKI has slammed the door on the conventions of pop stardom—writing, recording, and producing her music on her own. In 2019, NIKI continued her growth as an artist, releasing her second EP project 'wanna take this downtown?', which has been streamed over 150M+ times since its release last May, and earned praise from Billboard as “an expression of NIKIs growth as one of the brightest rising stars”. Over the past year and a half, NIKI has shot into global consciousness, with over 600M streams across her releases to date.
NIKI’s “Switchblade” is the first single off of her highly-anticipated, full-length debut studio album, 'Moonchild'.
